Firsts

First day of term for all of our students and it was lovely to have them back, particularly as they all looked incredibly smart in their new uniforms. And largely being worn uniformly which made for a lot less hassle than expected. One class taught and they were lovely; two more tomorrow and that'll be the first week done. And the first time of wearing my new shoes - all day. Not only very comfortable but they promoted me to the fourth from last (shortest) row on the whole staff photo which is definitely a first.
