Opportunists in Hexham

This evening I took Mum to the Hexham Art Club exhibition preview. In the market square a flock of these gulls were perched on any suitable vantage point. They must have known that fish and chips are a popular takeaway in this area.

I thought there was some good work in the exhibition but that the standard of work is much more varied than in previous years. We stayed for the raffle, won nothing ourselves but I chose the prize for our friends J and D who had gone home already. We called to find I had chosen for them the prize they had donated............arghh!!
