Caramel and cinnamon
I spent several hours today trying to get this triple decker monster right. The sponge is cinnamon flavoured and it has caramel flavoured icing as well as walnuts and salted caramel sauce between the layers. It's probably one of the most indulgent ones I've made so far - 13 eggs, 3 types of sugar, 3 blocks of butter etc etc. It was really relaxing to do though and seemed to go down quite well with the others in the house. What to make next.......
