horns of wilmington's cow

Don't worry, Bee happy...

It's after 11 and I've just finished cleaning the bathroom... It would have been done an hour earlier, but I remembered a promise to give my mum a call, and found that my brother was there as well, so the call time multiplied impressively as I found out he's hit the sort of bad luck run that would have Jonah claiming a time-out to recuperate.

Before that I'd got home with the sun still out, and with a particular bush in our garden being a bee magnet (it was just constantly buzzing) the light was just right to get out the Lensbaby and macro rings. This is Mel's choice tonight - I liked a Bluebottle, whose eyes were fab, and you can even see the hairs on his back in the shot. But Mel likes the bees, and this fuzzy chap's antennae won her over.

Later on there was the chance of a fuzzy big-eared fox shot, which seemed to go down well amongst friends on Facebook, but I've blipped sooooooooo many foxes, figured I'd have something different.

Bit of work done on resurrecting my cycling website tonight. I've got a newly designed, simpler, cleaner homepage, and magazine pages. Just over 2 and a half weeks till it hits the virtual newsstands again. Bee happy indeed, I've enjoyed starting to pull this together again. As well as managing to do a little writing over lunch, before a meeting that had me a little worried, and possibly flattered. You see I was to be the sole rep on our side with the other lot bringing SEVEN bods to the table. In the end they lost two due to technical difficulties, and I roped in an extra two on my side, so it all went smoothly, and in the end there was nowt to worry about.

Until tomorrow. There's always another workday.
