owl pellet lesson
The grandboys were treated to a hands on lesson about owl pellets.
They each got a sterilized pellet that contained the bones and fur or feathers that the owl could not digest, and then had to match up said bones to a key that would identify what the last meal was.
This is the oldest grandson discovering the bones of a rodent.
Learning can be so much fun!
