Barking up the wrong tree

I arrived so early this morning for my teaching the doors were still locked. I sat in the tree lined garden opposite. I took a few pictures of bark! The blip I liked and the extra photo is of a similar tree but looked so different. So these are my offerings for today.

Final teaching session of the week in an hour or so and then two days of rest. I know most of you have the day to go but when you get to the end, have a good weekend.
