The Colors of Autumn

While shopping at Costco, I always have to
pass by the flower section.  This fall bouquet
cheered my day....I wonder why some of the
brightest colors: shades of yellow, orange and
rust seem to dominate.  Who is mimicking
who? The flowers or the trees?
