Bonehill Heather

I thought I might have missed the best weather today but nonetheless I headed up to the moor this afternoon and stopped at Bonehill Rocks. I was pleased to get some intermittent sunshine so it was just a question of waiting for the sun to pop out. 

There are some large rocks around this area which make a bit of a dam and the peat is a bit boggy which made it difficult to get about and get the ideal placement for the tripod. but This one worked out well with the heather and the gorse lit up nicely.
