Mother in law

This is one of the photos from the re-union on Saturday.  This is my mother in law aged about 7 or 8 I think, with her younger sister and parents.  First time I have seen a picture from her childhood.
I am struck by how much her daughter looked like her at the same age.
She trained as a nurse and although only about 5ft tall she was an imposing Matron of a hospital - and very strict!
She softened as she aged!  Also taught me how to do 'hospital corners' with sheets, and to this day I could never sit on a bed when visiting a patient in hospital - she would never forgive me!
