Run!

I stopped for a while this morning in Verulamium Park in St Albans.  This park covers the site of the Roman city of Verulamium and is an attractive space featuring a central lake.

The path round the lake forms a useful running track for the boys of the local St Alban's School. This morning they ran from the school to the park, did two laps of the lake and then ran back to the school.  As you might expect, some ran faster than others.  Some slowed to a walk when out of sight of the teachers.

At least the rain held off.
