Catch a wave?

Grey and flat, it didn't look like your classic surfing day when I got home.  Still, the sign's as hopeful as ever. 

Don't know why, but there were no trains south of Newcastle tonight. On reflection, when the guard announced which area was affected, it was probably insensitive of me to punch the air with relief. 

Commuting can harden a person.
