Honored by Her Honor

Each year the City of Bellingham has a photo contest. Participants are allowed to submit up to five photos that capture the "Essence of Bellingham". This year there were 297 photos entered by 81 photographers.

I entered five photos -- all blips. One was judged third best of show, and three others took best in category. The top six entrants were invited to a recognition ceremony at the City Council meeting this evening, and presented with certificates by Mayor Kelli Linville.

We celebrated at home with a bottle of Hale's Ales Wee Heavy -- an ale aged six months in Kentucky oak barrels.
