After the supertides...

The beaches are full of washed up seaweed and rocks after the supertides earlier in the week. It seems strange to see such a large expanse of sand as the sea was right up to the sea wall and onto the prom in many places. There is literally no soft sand and the rocks really have taken over in certain places! 

Still, despite the strong winds today, it was relatively calm out to sea :-) I loved walking along the beach, as always, it really is one of those simple pleasures.
