Of Course It's A Badger

A visit to the Sawston Horticultural Show today and another weather-vane caught my eye.

From my original vantage point I really couldn't tell what it was supposed to be but once the backdrop was a white fluffy cloud, all became clear :) 

No prize-winning pumpkins in the family but god placings for cake, scones, jam, and photos. 

If I can ever afford to move there I can enter mine too!

I've come home with damson jam, cherry plum jam, and, a bunch of rhubarb. Expect a kitchen experiment to occur this week! 

My perfect nephew had the grumps from tiredness and teething but is still the most handsome boy in the village :)
