What a wonderful afternoon. 

We managed to cycle the top three miles of the towpath along the Montgomery canal from Queen's Head to the locks at Welsh Frankton where we met with Alf & Chris.

They have travelled from Middlewich in their narrow boat and are heading for The Navvy for lunch tomorrow.

Lovely afternoon of cycling in the sun, coffee and cake by the canal and catching up with 'old' - in the best sense of the word - friends.

Enjoy the Navvy and the trip home and we'll see you again in October.
