Dolly and the bunny nurse

We had a day out today, but when we came home Lewis had to put his nursing skills to use on Kiki! She was struggling to eat hard food again, so we had to get a good look at her wound! As it had scabbed over, it needed removed, some pus had accumulated again which was obviously causing a bit of pressure and pain! Lewis irrigated it and tried to get as much out as possible, I couldn't watch! We phoned the vet and they were happy that we were dong everything right! Why do these things always happen out of hours! Grateful for my amazing husband and his superior bunny nursing skills! He is a pretty ok people nurse too! ;)
