Open Doors

Next weekend is Oxford's Open Doors weekend when organisations all round the city let visitors in. Ages ago I pushed for the interesting building in which I used to work to be opened for the weekend and said I'd create the display about its history. I have some fantastic materials from the generous local historian who put the World War One Poppies display together - books, pamphlets, photos, maps, photocopies of 110-year-old newspapers - but started doing my bit of the work only today. I have left it rather late to get some permissions...

Fascinating work, though, and fun to be doing display work again after rather a long gap.
