Carolyn and Kim went home this afternoon..back to Auckland.

Before they went Ella and I took them around the city, out to Sumner and through some of the Red Zoned residential areas as they were interested to see what the EQ had done to Christchurch.
Had a good lunch at Ellas favourite, C1 cafe, where the chips appear down a shute to your table..always entertaining.
The wind was freezing , even thought the sky was blue.
