The last sweet peas of summer?

A rewarding day in the garden, lifting onions and garlic, weeding, picking more broad beans and a few peas and choosing a cabbage for dinner.  

As you can see, Ollie is anxious to be out for a walk, never mind those sweet peas! We did eventually get out, and the fields were full of curlews and lapwings, enjoying the soggy ground after all the rain.  The extra photos show what I think are dunlin?  But I'm not sure . . . !
