Gambel's Quail

Entering Arizona in the very early hours this morning and I was welcomed in by Seattle rain except 80 and very humid. After the sun came up I took a walk before this Seattleite would melt.

I saw 6 of these Quail running as fast as they could away from this blipper. As the other 5 stayed completely hidden, this one poked his/her head out to see if the coast was clear. It wasn't and now is famous...
