Bee on Mint

I have been enjoying a last day of summer today, the sun has been out and whilst I have been waiting for the dinner to cook and the cake to bake I have relaxed in the sunshine. The children are back at school tomorrow, so it has been a day of bag filling, uniform checking and shoe polishing, fortunately they are big enough to do most of that themselves.

It has been a lovely summer and having had lots of time off work has made it more special, I am not looking forward to the long winter ahead, but first we will have autumn and the trees will change colour and be beautiful.
