We went to the London Irish Vintage Rally this afternoon at Tir Chonaill Gaels GAA club in Greenford. It was a glorious sunny afternoon and there was plenty going on with vintage tractors and lorries, classic cars, hay baling, sheep shearing and loads more. There was also a live music stage with plenty of Irish music, including a set from the Bible Code Sundays.

For most people though, the highlight seemed to be a surprise guest appearance from Daniel O'Donnell. If you're not Irish the chances are you may not have heard of him, though he's currently one of the contestants in Strictly. He seems to have been around for ever and he's got a huge following on the Irish country scene. I've never actually seen him live before today, and I wouldn't rush to see him again, but he certainly whipped the crowd up today. There were women swooning everywhere.
