taking the plunge

honest mum, I AM going to go - any minute now

gardening today and sitting in the sun enjoying my lunch when I noticed sparrows flying into the top of the downpipe at the house next door - obviously a nest in there. ran for the camera, missed a shot of mum feeding chick, but then caught this chick just along from the nest, trying to pluck up the courage to take off. it did too - flew about 5 yards. sweet!

back to the garden for me now!
