Lairig Ghru
Spent today back along the Lairig Ghru in the Cairngorms gathering this months collection of images.
Two very obvious changes since the August walk (14 August). Firstly the heather is clearly very much in fashion at the moment and secondly there's been a bit of rain here in recent weeks. The dry pools I commented on last time are now well filled, and the fords gave suitable wee tests for my new boots.
This ford and it's associated pools are near the top of the Lairig Ghru (I'm sure they've got a name but I don't know what it is) and were my turning point today.
