Lindisfarne

We visited Lindisfarne today and I have to confess to being a bit disappointed because the whole place seems very commercial, as if the christian heritage of the place is simply an excuse to make money.  Maybe I am being a bit harsh but I thought it would be more like Iona.  This cat followed us round the ruined priory and posed happily for photographs, in the distance you can see Lindisfarne Castle.
