'Happiness is Homemade'
A very wet day - managed to get out for a little tootle & change of scenery...then Sunday Service in the evening. The team presented Asha with this homemade cone after the service - apparently in Germany, on the first day of school, kids get presented with a cone full of gifts - pens, paper, sweets etc etc....Asha's also included magnets, stickers, hair clips, glitter glue & much more! She was delighted! Such a lovely tradition (it was the 2 German girls on the team who pushed the idea, but everyone on the team went and bought something to put in it)...they'd even decorated the cone with patterned paper, hearts, her name....plus paper butterflies they'd picked up from a night out in Hedkandi the night before! Haha!
I read a sign today that said 'happiness is homemade' - so true!
MASSIVE headache, so I'm blipping this Monday morning.
Today I'm grateful for;
1) The team being SO kind to Asha (see extra pic for Danny wearing the cone well!)
2) Cooler temperatures.
3) DVD afternoon with Asha - Toy Story 3.
