Fathers' Day
I had a great day today after a full night's sleep (the first that Miles has had in days!). We got up and went for brunch at a new cafe in Fairfield called Mr. Wednesday. Really good breakfast and coffee... and there were two old Indian motorbikes parked up outside. I was in the process of taking a picture of them, then this little joker popped into view. He doesn't often let me shoot him like this, so I was happy for the enthusiasm!
As it was Fathers' day, Gina took Miles shopping and I had a fair few glorious hours of opening up the boxes that have been shipped over from the UK (they had been in my parents' garage for the past 8 years...). I put together the two bikes that had been sent (our tandem and my ridiculous chopper), had a few rides around the block and then started the restoration by taking steel wool to the rust. I loved it!
Johnny and Stacey cooked a roast for dinner and came over to eat it with us as their house is in full renovation stage (but we still don't have an oven). That's what I call teamwork!
I have a whole heap of backblips to put up, but I've been having some internet issues since being back, so bear with me and I'll get there!!
