Labor Day balloons

For nearly 40 years, Colorado Springs has hosted a hot air balloon festival over Labor Day weekend.
Recently, a few years have been a bust with bad weather or high winds, and the balloonists wondered whether it was worth their while to come here.
Then after last year, the original organizing group pulled out, but the city found another group to put on the show.
So it was with great relief and delight that I saw beautiful balloons in the sky this morning!
