And now a quick guide on How to Drive in Rural Devon.

1. Buy a big, wide motorhome - making sure there is no reverse gear.
2. Drive along the narrowest roads you can find. 
3. Spot something coming the other way. 
4. Keep going past the widest part of the road, avoiding any passing places.
5. When you reach the bottle neck, stop.
6. Wait for approaching traffic to squeeze through the gap or reverse.
7. Repeat repeatedly.
