Eye of the spider
Not one of my usual shots of the Forth & Clyde Canal.
An early start for me today - although not that early for most people who are still at work - and a walk up to Underwood Lock on my way to catch a bus at Allandale (long story!)
The bridge at the lock gates was adorned with numerous spiders' webs, still damp from the early morning mist that was taking some time to clear but also glinting from the sun that was trying to break through. Thought they were worth a photograph or two. This is the Canal as a spider would see it.
