What a grand day

A gorgeous day today, so I took my trainers with me to work and went out walking at lunchtime. I went up a track opposite my office, which is where I took this photo from. The track is part of the long-distance footpath called "The Monarch's Way". I walked for 20 minutes then turned and walked back again - I had to leave enough time to eat my lunch!
The buildings you can see there are where I work. Right in the middle of the countryside - which is where I like it, but I know it wouldn't suit everyone.
Warwickshire is very pretty but doesn't have spectacular scenery - more like rolling countryside - however it made a nice change to be out amongst it even if it was for only 40 minutes.
