Correcting design errors
Last winter revealed a flaw in our version of a passerelle - the water went down the straight bit but when it came to the end, it ignored the weedy wall trying to get it to turn right and went straight on, removing both steps to the lower terrace and any soil we might plant vegetables in.
Today the master mason tried to correct this with a higher wall at the end of the passerelle designed to divert the water back into the natural water course. We await enough train - wishfully - to test the new structure
