Spooked

Some years ago, at Towersey I think it was, we first came across The Spooky Men's Chorale.  

Life hasn't been quite the same the same since.

The Spooks have added a one day festival to their occasional UK tour, and luck would have it, the venue was only a few miles away at The Fold in Bransford.

There was an impressive range of music, and some folk dance as we've never seen before.  The highlights for us were the Spooks (including the opening 'How to be a Spook' singing workshop) and Roy Bailey, pictured here with the Spooks as backing.

Frustratingly for us, by the time the call came from Roy for accommodation we were already full.  Still, we accommodated Phil, the guitarist from one of the other bands.

Slightly odd, but none of our B&B guests were in before midnight tonight - even those just down the road at Busfest - so there was no problem with us rolling in at about the same time!
