en garde!

My penultimate trip to MK!! Not too bad a trip down apart from the second train (from Crewe) not having any air conditioning. As soon as I got to the B&B, I had a large drink of water and headed off to Willen Lake (north) to get a blip of something small, cute and fluffy as I'd seen loads of cygnets etc as the train whisked past ponds. And did I see any? Only too far away for my camera to focus on. :-[ But from the hide, I saw this grebe defending the nest from the lurking seagulls.
