Not your normal

Kansas scenery!  We are stopped for night at Colby where the gas station/restaurant/truck stop is called the Oasis...so hoiw do palm trees survive the cold in winter!  

On another note, the temperature in Kansas today was 103!!!!  So I guess the palm trees liked it!   I did not!

Tomorrow we will arrive at our Colorado destination where the temperature today was 78!   I do like!
