Dining Downy (woodpecker )

Funny  how things sometimes work out. I went out looking for the 3 baby goldfinches that were driving momma goldfinch crazy chasing after her for food. They ( of course) disappeared the minute the camera and I got set up.  A red belly and this downy were checking out the pear tree for bugs, and the downy stayed long enough to be today's blip.
