The sun rising through the clouds glowed an apricot gold this morning - and I'm including this African proverb because there's a little bit of movement on the house earthquake repair situation. Don't get excited yet though! There are still some tricky diplomatic planning manoeuvres to be inched through. I'm a little hopeful though! - the most hopeful I've been since March, so that's a good thing to be able to say.

My boots still aren't quite dry since my dunking in the briny 2 days ago, probably because they're wool lined. I did appreciate all your concern! You're such a lovely bunch :)
