Labor Day, 2015

I can't remember ever having a more wonderful Labor Day. Manko and I spent the morning talking about our lives, the world, and everything. After lunch we met Sue at the Chinese Garden (see Extra) for some beauty and laughter. At the end of the day Manko and I joined Seth, Bella, Cristina, and Evan for a barbecue in their back yard (this and the other Extra). I got to hold and smooch on the baby and to catch up with Cristina on the lives of their friends. Bella got quality time with her much-adored Auntie Manko. Seth and Manko wandered off for an intimate conversation, and we all ended the day with our hearts full of hope.

P.S. at not-quite-four-months, Evan is enormous. Off the charts in weight and height.
