That time of year....

... when the traffic cones appear in the village. Not a lot really happens round here, apart from a Tuesday and Wednesday in June when the Cheshire Show is on. We are about a mile away from the showground, but I am yet to go, as it is always on weekedays, when I am working.

The other very exciting thing that happened in the village is that we have mysterious purple and orange piles of dog's dodo appear. Someone is going round to highlight the fact that people are not scooping and spraying the evidence with orange and purple spray paint. Clever idea really, as it alerts innocent walkers and hopefully shames the people who allow their dogs to mess on the pavements, but fail to pick it up!!! (I did not feel that it would make the best blip.....although I was a little tempted!)
