Trade Show
A couple of rushed deliveries this morning so we could get a bit of time at the Four Oaks Show.
In the pic is Helen putting in an order with Ian so we can increase our Autumn range of smaller planters. We also made another couple of good contacts for containers and a nursery from Belgium for possible tissue culture plants.
The show is also a chance to meet with some old friends that we perhaps only see once a year now. This can be nice but also serves as a reminder we are all getting older, showing it and moving another step closer to the grave.
The show looks a little less busy each year and when I first started going it would be full of fresh faced and keen students myself included. Now it is mainly tired old men and a lot of mutton dressed as lamb which as you get older starts looking much more attractive perhaps as we look less so.
Late out of the show and a nice meal in the Edgerton Arms which has a much better ambience (surprised myself I could spell that after being taught to spell it how it sounds nonsense of the sixties when education in this country was grim as it largely still is) than last nights place that had none whatsoever.
Foggy start but some long sunny spells.Feels cold this evening.
P.S.Thank you for comments I will reply and comment shortly.
