Cocoon

We found this caterpillar mid-way into becoming a cocoon on our lemon tree today.  We've been rescuing caterpillars from our vine and have seen 3 become cocoons then butterflies! The children are loving all things nature-related. My favourite lesson of the week is 'nature study' which today meant getting the children to do the gardening while spotting things!

We also found a lizard in our house which we caught and have made a little house for. We're never short of  cockroaches or  mosquitos (I'm currently being eaten alive by the latter) so hopefully the lizard won't go hungry.

Today our neighbouring country decided to invade us by land as well as by air. Things feel a bit crazy (but safe still thankfully).
