Playgrounds

It turns out Google maps is not the best tool for finding playgrounds - the first we tracked down near the castle was adequate (pictured) but a bit on the small and babyish side. The second looked promising on the map but after a reasonably long trek turned out to be a school one locked behind a big wall! We did have a nice walk along the river though and saw a tower which was more impressive than the castle really and then we had a nice lunch at a random tearoom where the normal Google tracked me down a pdf of all the local authority maintained play areas and we went and had a good play at another one before cycling back to the holiday house. A slightly fractious day in places and as always better once he's been persuaded to eat (or sleep). He did polish off his pizza and chocolate sundae for tea in record time though.
