Tiny Tuesday
There has been a distinct lack of thistles around this year and I love photographing them. My usual supply is now locked up in a building site and there has been a big clean up by the council as well. I spotted this one near the care home of B-I-L when I visited him today. I must remember to carry a thick plastic back and some scissors with me when I go for a walk. I sheared off the stem of this single flower using 2 bits of wood like tongs and still managed to get stung. The thin fabric shopping bag I had in my hand bag was no protection, either. (I had the wrong camera with me for macro so I had to take it home with me.)
