Mark Lanegan pulls the face a thousand teenage boys (me included) wanted to be able to pull when we got older.
Gladly (sadly) we never felt the urge to embark on the career that delivered this wonderful physiognomy.
Him and his lot played a truly, truly amazing set on Saturday night at EOTR and my memory of their cover of Joy Division's "Atmosphere" is something I'll take to the grave. The gradual realisation among the crowd that this was what is what was, was a heart-stopping moment.
That there was worth the ticket alone.
