Interesting "birds..."!!

A busy day - we spent the morning loading son #2's belongings into the van in Glasgow in preparation for his move to Bath (see yesterday's write-up). The afternoon was spent helping to clean the flat, and in the evening we drove part of the way to Bath, stopping at a Days Inn for the night.

So there wasn't much time for blipping. However, while he took his keys back to the letting agent we stopped in a city centre carpark in Glasgow and spotted these shoes hanging from a power line. This raised 2 questions:

1) Why are they there?
2) How on earth did someone get them there?

(I only had my phone available for the photo so please forgive the rather poor quality - my camera was too deeply buried in the van!)
