Upside-down pot spider.

Today the rain has been heavy enough for the schools to close, so again I didn't get further than the garden to pick up a couple of upside pots then beat a hasty retreat back into the dry.

I made a trip to Iriomote in Okinawa last summer and got caught in a rain storm that shorted out my camera. Canon Japan fixed it for me for a price, but since then I've been paranoid about getting even a drop of rain on it.

 My plan with this blipfoto is to publish a picture of a different creature (or at least a different stage of a creatures development) every day. In a couple of months the bugs will all be dead and I'll have to head out to the beach or river for bird shots regardless of the weather. Better get my camera a raincoat...
