Pride

Our son became a school Ambassador today. Or Head Boy for the older folk. Words cannot describe how pleased we all are with the news. When he was asked if would like to become an Ambassador, his response was an immediate "YES".  He's been looking forward to his final year at primary school and this news just has made everything awesome!

My Dad popped over for tea this evening. Had a good chat and went through the details of the operation he is about to have at the end of the month. His check up went ok this morning.
He brought his Canon DSLR round for me to borrow while I get my Pentax sorted (replaced as it costs more to fix than the camera is worth). Much appreciated and this is one of the few practice shots I took with it using the wide angle lens. Good bit of kit, though it'll take a few days to get used to it (took me a while to work out how to shoot in RAW).

Our new radiator arrived today. Project fort he next few weeks will be to fit a window seat in our living room, with the said radiator attached to it. Been a while since I done a major job on the house so I will be looking forward to it.

Another it of good news: Mrs Tuttle is doing well on eBay after setting everything up over the weekend.

Quote of the day: "I done grammar".....
.....after I asked Tuttle Jnr what else he did at school today!

Happy times.
