Excitement and Drama...

always present when scotland play, but if truth be told, often from the other side...

yet someone in the SRU has obviously decided to make a spectacle of these autumn internationals - and a good job they've done too...

no main lighting, flame-throwers, fancy moving lights and a band that only played to half the national anthem really created a great atmosphere at the start of the match, only exacerbated when Scotland got 3 points int the first couple of minutes.

Alas, it was not to be and in unfortunately typical Scottish style, great swathes of pressure provided nothing in the way of scoreboard momentum.

Any team wearing the All Black jersey is one to be respected and the amount pressure that was exerted bodes well for future tests. The ease with which the All Blacks stepped up a gear scoring one try and threatening at least two others in the last 10 minutes however, is cause for concern.

The scoreline probably flatters the All Blacks, but is spot on in it's relefction of Scotland's inability to breach the try line at this level.
