GSTQ

Was passing through Waverley Station late morning which was exceptionally busy with folks waving little Union Jack flags.

The reason - the Queen was in town to open the new Borders railway. I didn't hang around but had enough time to capture a blip of the train pulling out among a cheerful crowd.

Today is of course a special day for the Queen - she is now the longest reigning monarch. Nice that she should spend the day in Scotland - I guess.

And no - I didn't see her, let alone meet her. I'll have to wait for my next invitation to Buck House for that!
