Maid in Cornwall

Floral Flotsam

Had another stroll around the harbour today on my way back from buying a leek (I lead an exciting life) and was suprised to see these bright pink poppies growing on the wasteland and framing the lovely Ida May.
Not much to say really, it's just been another day not much different to the one before, or the one before that. I did drive Bella to school by myself today though, the first time I've done that for a month. It feels pretty damn good to be back behind the wheel and it means that my Mum, who has been staying with us on and off since the operation providing chauffering/domestic services can finally be relieved of her duties and we can all get back to some sort of normality. She's been an absolute star but I can't wait to get my independence back (and I'm sure she can't wait to get her husband back and sleep in her own bed again!).
